Membership Fees

Please send the initial administration fee of €15 plus the membership fee, which is based on the month you join the club. The IWP membership year begins in September. For existing members who would like to to renew membership please fill in the MEMBERSHIP RENEWAL FORM with the annual fee of €50. If you have any questions please contact the IWP Office. Portugal is a beautiful and interesting country. Many of us have visited Lisbon or Oporto and most have enjoyed a week or two on the warm sunny beaches of the Algarve. But what is it like to live here? How much can we say we know about the real Portugal? Now in its seventh edition, Feeling at Home in Portugal is published by International Women in Portugal (IWP) and can be purchased from the IWP office.

There are many benefits to being a member of IWP. Six times year you will receive an in depth club magazine called

A JANELA. The magazine highlights news and stories about Portugal as well as a glimpse into the lives of many of the over 300 members. IWP also offers over 30 different kinds of ACTIVITIES to participate in including: Portuguese language courses, golf & tennis lessons, painting, book club, fine wining and dining, as well as mother and child groups and creative writing. All but a few of these activities are free of charge and only available to IWP members. Another really important benefit of being a member of IWP is the social one. Through IWP you will meet women from all over the world that want to make good friends and feel at home.

The IWP would like to encourage all women interested to join our club to please complete and send in the MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM to our office along with the membership fee. You can view and print the application form by clicking the Form link. The form is two pages, we recommend that you set your printer to print both sides of one piece of paper.
