"Tips for your Garden & Terrace" with a tour of her beautiful garden in Eugaria
(between Colares and Sintra). After the talk there will be a light Lunch overlooking the beautiful Sintra Hills.

We know how hard it is to start life in a new country, so all members and prospective members have the opportunity to meet, greet and be social every month over coffee and pastry. So, come join us at a ‘Coffee Morning’ either in Lisbon or Cascais. It’s a great way to build a support system and feel at home. If you are not yet a member of IWP, you are welcome to two IWP events before joining.
Lisbon Coffee Mornings take place at the Chá do Carmo in Chiado on Tuesday, June 8th and again on
Tuesday, July 13th.

We are currently looking for someone to help organize Lisbon activities and events. If you have any suggestions or are interested in volunteering e-mail office@iwponline.org.
The IWP June lunch will be held on

We will gather at 12.30 p.m. The lunch will start at 13.00 p.m.

Cascais Walking Tour - Wednesday, June 9th 2010
Celebration of Portugal Day with Delfina Tamulonis
On June 10th Portugal celebrates its National Day also known as Dia de Camões. In honor of this occasion, Delfina Tamulonis invites IWP members along on a Walking Tour of Cascais where she will outline the history of the once small and still picturesque fishing village.
The tour will take place on Wednesday, JUNE 9TH beginning at 10:30 in front of the Cascais Municipal building by the statue of S.Pedro I. The tour will last two hours with a coffee break at the Cascais Parque Marechal Carmona.

The IWP monthly lunch in July will be held on
Thursday, 22nd of July in Cascais at the
Restaurant Fogo do Chão, a Brazilian restaurant in Cascais behind Jardim Visconde da Luz.
Location: Rua Carlos Ribeiro
We will gather at 12.30 p.m. and the
lunch will start at 13.00 p.m.
There will be an "all you can eat buffet", with a selection of Salads, Soups, Chicken dishes,
Meat dishes, Sausages and Cheeses.
The cost will be €15,-- for members and €17,-- for guests which includes the buffet, 2 drinks (water or wine), dessert of your choice and coffee.
